Höegh Autoliners ASA (HOEGF) Q1 2025 Earnings Call Q&A Session

Höegh Autoliners ASA’s My Linh Vu, Head of Investor Relations; Andreas Enger, Chief Executive Officer (CEO); and Espen Stubberud, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), held the company’s earnings webinar on 25 April 2025.

During the session, investors raised questions regarding the fees related to PCTC port calls in the United States. CEO Andreas Enger stated, “A new system has been announced whereby a charge of $150 per CEU will be imposed for each entry into US waters. This replaces the previous port-based fee structure and represents a significant cost increase.”

At the same time, Mr Enger emphasised that there is still a grace period, commenting, “However, it will not come into effect before October. I will refrain from speculating on what may happen in the negotiations and discussions between now and then. Nevertheless, the impact of tariffs on customers and trade flows, as well as the risk of additional costs arising from port fees, remain as uncertainties.”
