〆 Striving to Be “Closest to the Cargo”: BainBridge Navigation Group Sets Sights on Japanese Market

「貨物に最も近い存在」を目指して：ベインブリッジ・ナビゲーション・グループ、日本市場に照準

Amid continued fluctuations in the global shipping market, BainBridge Navigation Group—founded in 2017—has emerged as a rapidly expanding independent ship operator. Specialising in dry bulk and chemical tankers, the company currently manages a fleet of over 70 vessels.

With operational hubs across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, USA, and Japan, the group has achieved swift growth by offering flexible services tailored to global logistics demand. On this occasion, Managing Director Mr Deepak Kumar Sharma (Centre) along with other Board of Directors Mr. Ankit Dhawan (Left) and Mr. Nihit Arora (Right), visited Japan, signalling the company’s full-scale push to strengthen ties with Japanese shipowners, particularly those based in the Imabari region.

We spoke to him about BainBridge’s strategic aims, business approach, and competitive advantages.

　世界の海運市場が変動を続ける中、2017年に設立されたベインブリッジ・ナビゲーション・グループは、急速に成長する独立系船舶運航会社として台頭している。ドライバルクとケミカルタンカーを専門とし、現在70隻以上の船隊を管理する。

　 同グループは、アジア、中東、ヨーロッパ、米国、日本に運航拠点を置き、グローバルな物流需要に合わせた柔軟なサービスを提供することで急速な成長を遂げてきた。今回、社長のディーパク・クマール・シャルマ氏（写真中央）、取締役のアキット・ダワン氏（同左）、ニヒト・アローラ氏（同右）が来日し、特に今治地域を拠点とする日本の船主との関係強化を目指す本格的な取り組みを示した。
