US-based Hoopo upgrades early fire detection for shipping containers 米フーポ、コンテナ内部の火災早期検知技術を高度化

Algorithm tested against 7.2bn temperature readings, alert issued about three minutes after ignition

72億件の温度データで検証、発火約3分後に警報

US-based logistics asset intelligence company Hoopo, headquartered in Arizona, announced on October 30 that it had enhanced its algorithm for the early detection of fires inside dry shipping containers. The algorithm is incorporated into its solar-powered monitoring device, “hoopoSense Solar”, and uses infrared sensors to analyse temperature and the rate at which it rises.
