The PCTC Morning Midas (Liberian-flagged, IMO No. 9289910, built in 2006), operated by Zodiac Maritime, has sunk in international waters of the North Pacific on 23 June, according to the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The vessel went down nearly three weeks after a fire broke out on board, with worsening weather and progressive flooding cited as contributing factors. All crew members had already been evacuated with no injuries reported. Authorities are continuing to monitor the site for signs of pollution.

米国沿岸警備隊によると、ゾディアック・マリタイム（Zodiac Maritime）が保有するPCTC「モーニング・マイダス（Morning Midas）」（リベリア船籍、IMO番号9289910、２００６年竣工）が6月23日、北太平洋の公海上で沈没した。火災発生から約3週間が経過しており、悪天候と進行性の浸水が沈没の引き金となった。全乗組員は退避済みで、負傷者は出ていない。現在、関係当局は汚染の有無を監視しつつ対応を継続している。
