On 14 October, the Chinese government imposed countermeasures on five U.S.-related subsidiaries of South Korean shipbuilding major Hanwha Ocean (formerly Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering), based on the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law.
