日本船主協会(長澤仁志, Hitoshi Nagasawa会長)、日本造船工業会(檜垣幸人, Yukito Higaki会長)、日本中小型造船工業会(CAJS、田中敬二, Keiji Tanaka会長)、日本舶用工業会(JSMEA、木下和彦, Kazuhiko Kinoshita会長)の日本の海運、造船、舶用工業の主要4団体は23日、連盟で「我が国造船業再生に向けたお願い」を自民党海運・造船対策特別委員会、経済安全保障推進本部合同会議、国土交通省に提出したと発表した。
