Greek shipowner and operator DryDel Shipping announced on the 18th, via the social networking service LinkedIn, that it has entered into a newbuilding contract with Namura Shipbuilding for one Capesize bulk carrier.

Key points of the article

→ The latest order represents DryDel’s fourth Capesize newbuilding, following the third Capesize agreed in July 2025, and will further accelerate the company’s growth in the large dry bulk segment on which it is focusing.

→ The vessel will be of about 182,000 deadweight tonnes (DWT), fitted with a scrubber and equipped with a high-efficiency engine compliant with Tier III and EEDI Phase 3 requirements. Delivery is scheduled for 2029.

　ギリシャ船主兼オペレーターのDryDel Shippingは18日、ソーシャルネットワークサービスのLinkedInを通じ、名村造船所とケープサイズ・バルクキャリア1隻の新造契約を締結したと発表した。
