Imabari Shipbuilding Group Forms Capital Tie-Up with European Chemical and Gas Shipping Sector

Shoei Kisen, a shipowning company within the Imabari Shipbuilding Group, has recently acquired a 4.7% shareholding in Eitzen Avanti AS, a Norwegian holding company.

→ Eitzen Avanti is a maritime holding company owned by the Eitzen family and has under its umbrella Christiania Shipping AS, whose core business focuses on chemical tankers and gas carriers.

→ Under its recent growth strategy, Christiania Shipping has built up a fleet of 50 vessels in total, comprising 29 chemical tankers, 18 LPG carriers, and a further three vessels currently under construction. 　今治造船グループの船主である正栄汽船はこのほど、ノルウェーの持株会社Eitzen Avanti AS（エイツェン・アヴァンティ AS）の株式4.7％を取得した。
