Kumiai Navigation, a Singapore-based shipowner within the Kumiai Senpaku Group, has recently placed an order with Kawasaki Heavy Industries for two Capesize bulk carriers.

　くみあい船舶グループのシンガポール船主クミアイ・ナビゲーションはこのほど、川崎重工業にケープサイズ・バルカー2隻を発注した。

→ヤードは川崎重工業の中国合弁造船所である大連中遠海運川崎船舶工程有限公司（DACKS）で建造、2029年の引き渡しを予定する。新造船は21万重量トン級のニューキャッスルマックス型の新設計で、従来燃料仕様の主機関とスクラバーを搭載。2隻のうち1隻は7年間の用船契約を確保しており、船隊更新プログラムの一環として実施する。
