According to the Oman Maritime Security Centre and other sources, on March 1, 2026, the Palau-flagged chemical tanker SKYLIGHT (IMO No. 9330020, deadweight 11,262 tonnes, built in 2006), which is subject to US sanctions, was attacked off the Musandam Peninsula of Oman, close to the Strait of Hormuz, leaving four crew members injured.

　オマーン海上保安センターなどによると、2026年3月1日、ホルムズ海峡に近接するオマーン・ムサンダム半島沖で、米国の制裁対象となっているパラオ船籍のケミカルタンカー「SKYLIGHT」（IMO番号9330020、載貨重量トン数11,262トン、2006年竣工）が攻撃を受け、乗組員4人が負傷した。
