On the night of 5 February, a 2,732-TEU feeder container ship, MSC Giada III (Liberian-flagged), operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), was struck by a fire originating from an explosion in the engine room while under way near Neva Bay, close to St Petersburg, Russia.

　ロシア・サンクトペテルブルク近郊のネヴァ湾付近で2月5日夜、Mediterranean Shipping Company（MSC）が運航する2,732TEU型フィーダーコンテナ船「MSC Giada III」（リベリア船籍）が、航行中に機関室で爆発を起点とする火災に見舞われた。
