According to sources familiar with the matter, from June 23 onwards, the Economic Security Division of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Maritime Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) will begin visiting the offices of major Japanese shipbuilders to exchange views with executives regarding the government’s shipbuilding support policies. Closed-Door Briefings on Shipbuilding Policy Held Quietly in Tokyo

　関係者によると、６月２３日以降、経済産業省の経済安全保障チームや国土交通省海事局は、日本の主要造船所の事務所を訪問し政府の造船支援策について造船幹部と意見交換する。複数の造船関係者幹部が２２日までにMaritime Bridge Japanの取材に回答した。

■水面下で造船の勉強会を開催

　６月第２週、早朝の衆議院議員会館では「経済外交に関する議員連盟」の勉強会が開催されていた。

　目的は造船所からのヒアリング、造船・海運を核としたネットワークの構築についての進捗状況についての報告である。
