The Japanese and U.S. governments are coordinating to sign a memorandum of cooperation on shipbuilding during President Trump’s visit to Japan on the 27th.

　日米両政府が、27日のトランプ米大統領の来日に合わせて造船に関する協力覚書を締結する方向で調整していることが分かった。

この記事のポイント

→覚書には「日米造船作業部会」の設置が盛り込まれ、造船力の拡充と技術開発での協力を進める。日本は官民一体となって2035年に建造量倍増を目指す再生計画を打ち出している。
