Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi held her first meeting with US President Donald Trump since taking office on the morning of the 28th at the State Guest House in Moto Akasaka, Tokyo.
Takaichi explained to President Trump Japan’s plans to expand investment and lending toward the United States as well as to increase defence spending.

高市早苗（Sanae Takaichi）首相は28日午前、東京・元赤坂の迎賓館でトランプ米大統領と首相就任以来、初の会談を実施した。高市首相はトランプ大統領に対米投融資の拡大や防衛費増額の計画について説明した。
