On 16 October 2025, the 31st JECK Shipbuilding Summit, hosted by the Japan Shipbuilders’ Association, brought together senior executives from the shipbuilding industries of Japan, Europe, China, and South Korea at the Imabari Kokusai Hotel in Ehime Prefecture.

2025年10月16日、日本造船工業会の主催で日本、欧州、中国、韓国の造船業界首脳が一堂に会する「JECK造船首脳会議(第31回)」が、愛媛県今治市の今治国際ホテルで開催された。

→同会議は、檜垣幸人(日本造船工業会会長、今治造船社長)が23日に自民党の関連部会で「日本の造船能力倍増に向けた3,500億円支援構想」を説明する直前に行われたもので、政策と産業現場の接点を象徴する節目となった。
