In response to the attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, and as tensions in Middle Eastern waters escalate rapidly, the Japan Shipowners’ Association (JSA), which represents Japan’s oceangoing shipping industry, established a “Maritime Safety Countermeasures Headquarters” on the morning of March 1, 2026. The headquarters is headed by Chairman Hitoshi Nagasawa, who also serves as Chairman of NYK.

　米国およびイスラエルによるイランへの攻撃を受け、中東海域の緊張が急速に高まる中、日本の外航海運業界を代表する日本船主協会（JSA）は2026年3月1日午前、長澤仁志会長（日本郵船会長）を本部長とする「海上安全等対策本部」を設置した。
