MOL Enters Tripartite Agreement for Offshore Rocket Launch and Recovery Project

Partners with ISC and Tsuneishi Solutions Tokyo Bay

商船三井、洋上発射・回収の宇宙事業で三社提携　将来宇宙輸送システム、常石ソリューションズ東京ベイと協定締結

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) announced on 10 July that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Innovative Space Carrier Inc. (ISC, Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and Tsuneishi Solutions Tokyo Bay (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo) for the commercial development of vessels dedicated to offshore rocket launch and recovery. The project was originally proposed through the MOL Group’s in-house innovation programme, “MOL Incubation Bridge”. 　商船三井（本社・東京港区、橋本剛,Takeshi Hashimoto, CEO）は7月10日、将来宇宙輸送システム株式会社（ISC、本社・東京都中央区）、常石ソリューションズ東京ベイ（本社・東京都港区）と、ロケットの洋上発射・回収船の事業化に向けて連携協定書を締結したと発表した。同事業は、商船三井グループの新規事業提案制度「MOL Incubation Bridge」を通じて発案されたもの。今回の三社提携を機に（続きは本文をお読みください）
