MOL announced on 4 November that it had carried out a project with Sharp Corporation, Sharp Energy Solutions Corporation and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to donate and install 420 solar panels in areas of Kenya facing electricity shortages. The initiative supports residents living in temporary accommodation following flooding, as well as communities affected by drought, conflict and other hardships.

　商船三井は11月4日、シャープ、シャープエネルギーソリューション、国際移住機関（国連IOM）と共同で、ケニアの電力不足地域に太陽光パネル420枚を寄贈・設置するプロジェクトを実施したと発表した。

洪水被害により仮住居で生活する住民や、干ばつ、紛争などの影響を受ける地域を支援する。
