NYK announced on the 24th that it had begun operation of the LNG (liquefied natural gas)-fuelled coal carrier SAKURA CRESCENT (95,569 deadweight tonnes, port of registry = Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture), which was delivered on the 23rd at Oshima Shipbuilding’s (Oshima Shipbuilding, Ōshima-chō, Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture) Koyagi Works (Koyagi Works, Nagasaki City).

　日本郵船は24日、23日に大島造船所（Oshima Shipbuilding、長崎県西海市大島町）の香焼工場（Koyagi Works、長崎市）で竣工したLNG（液化天然ガス）を主燃料とする石炭輸送船「SAKURA CRESCENT（サクラ・クレセント）」（95,569重量トン、船籍港＝福島県南相馬市）の運航を開始したと発表した。
