NYK announced on 29 October that it has signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Port of Duqm Company SAOC (PODC), the port management and operating entity of the Sultanate of Oman. The signing took place on 27 October during the Duqm Economic Forum 2025, an international economic conference held in Oman.

→ The Port of Duqm is the core of an economic special zone being developed by the Omani government as a national strategic project. Plans include the production of direct reduced iron (DRI) and the manufacture of green hydrogen and ammonia. 　日本郵船（NYK）は10月29日、27日にオマーンで開催された国際経済会議「Duqm Economic Forum 2025」において、同国の港湾管理・運営を担うPort of Duqm Company SAOC（PODC）と包括的な覚書（MOU）を締結したと発表した。
