NYK Receives AiP for Reusable Rocket Recovery System　Maritime–Space Integration Accelerates, Laying the Groundwork for 2028 Demonstration

On July 24, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) announced that it had received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from ClassNK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) for a maritime recovery system for reusable rockets currently under development as part of a project funded by the Space Strategic Fund of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
