New Entity to Operate 21 Owned Vessels and Manage 90　保有船21隻、管理船90隻の体制で

On October 31, NYK announced that three of its group companies — Asahi Kaiun, Hachiuma Steamship, and Mitsubishi Ore Transport — have signed a merger agreement dated October 28, 2025, with the aim of integrating their operations.

Key Points of the Announcement

→ The new company, to be named NYK Bulkship Partners Co., Ltd. (NBSP), will be established as a wholly owned subsidiary of NYK and is scheduled to begin operations on April 1, 2026.

→ As of September 30, 2025, the new company will have a fleet of 21 owned vessels and 90 managed ships, with a capital of 500 million yen. Its head office will be located on the 4th floor of Shinagawa Intercity C Building, 2-15-3 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

　日本郵船は10月31日、グループの海運・船舶管理会社である旭海運、八馬汽船、三菱鉱石輸送の3社が、2025年10月28日付で事業統合を目的とする合併契約を締結したと発表した。
