First of Seven Chartered Ships Departs Safely as Gradual Resumption of Navigation Begins

Danish shipping company NORDEN announced on June 26 that the first of its seven chartered vessels that had remained in the Persian Gulf had safely departed the region.

The company described the development as “a positive step forward”. As the phased evacuation scheme led by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Government of Oman progresses, attention is now turning to the movement of the remaining vessels still in the area.

　デンマークの海運大手NORDENは6月26日、ペルシャ湾内にあった同社用船中の7隻のうち、最初の1隻が安全に同海域を離脱したことを明らかにした。
