　Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) agreed on September 11 with PETRONAS LNG Ltd., a subsidiary of Malaysian state-owned energy company Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), on a framework for stable LNG supplies in an emergency. The agreement was reached at the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference (LNGPCC) 2026 in Tokyo.

　The framework provides Japan with a new safety net for LNG supplies in the event that private-sector companies face difficulties securing LNG through their usual procurement channels.

　エネルギー・金属鉱物資源機構（JOGMEC）は9月11日、東京で開催されたLNG産消会議（LNGPCC）2026で、マレーシア国営石油会社ペトロナス（PETRONAS）傘下のPETRONAS LNG Ltd.と、緊急時のLNG安定供給に向けた連携枠組みに合意した。
