POSIDONIA 2026, one of the world’s largest international maritime exhibitions, will open on June 1 at the Metropolitan Expo near Athens, Greece.

From Japan, 19 companies will exhibit within the Japanese Pavilion, while major shipping companies, shipyards, marine equipment manufacturers and ClassNK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) will also take part in the event.

Through business meetings with Greek shipowners, who control more than 20 per cent of the world’s merchant fleet, and a series of international conferences, participants will explore the future direction of the maritime industry as decarbonisation and digitalisation continue to reshape the sector.

世界最大級の国際海事展示会「POSIDONIA 2026（ポシドニア2026）」が6月1日、ギリシャ・アテネ近郊のMetropolitan Expoで開幕する。日本からも日本パビリオンに19社が出展するほか、海運大手、造船所、舶用メーカー、日本海事協会（ClassNK）などが参加する。
