　NYK said on September 14 that it had held a naming and launch ceremony on September 11 for Amane (海音), a cruise ship scheduled to enter service in Tokyo Bay in May 2027, at Maehata Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture.

　The vessel slid down the slipway and entered the water. Following interior outfitting and related work, Amane is scheduled for delivery in March 2027 and is expected to enter service on Tokyo Bay cruises based in the Tennozu Isle waterfront district in May that year.

日本郵船、東京湾クルーズ船「AMANE」命名・進水　2027年5月就航へ

「LADY CRYSTAL」後継船、佐世保で船台から海へ　水素・食・デザインを融合

　日本郵船は14日、2027年5月に東京湾で就航予定のクルーズ船「AMANE（海音）」の命名・進水式を、長崎県佐世保市の前畑造船株式会社で11日に開催したと発表した。

　本船は船台を滑り出し進水した。今後、内装工事などを経て2027年3月の竣工、同年5月に天王洲を拠点とした東京湾クルーズへの就航を予定する。
