According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China’s vehicle exports reached 1.037 million units in June 2026, surpassing the one-million mark for the first time in a single month.
According to Veson Nautical, the one-year time charter index for a 6,500 CEU Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) has risen by approximately 45% since the beginning of the year, reaching around US$63,000 per day. The combined fleet operated by NYK, MOL and K Line totals 342 vessels, reinforcing the strategic importance of one of the world’s largest finished vehicle logistics networks.
