　Denmark’s Maersk Tankers has taken delivery of its first very large ammonia carrier (VLAC), the Jane Mærsk, from South Korea’s HD Hyundai Samho.

　According to BW LPG, the global VLGC fleet stands at 429 vessels, with an orderbook of 130 ships. NYK and MOL are also developing fleets of large gas carriers capable of transporting ammonia and securing transportation contracts.
