　Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) has decided to acquire an equity stake in MidOcean Energy, the LNG company established and managed by US energy infrastructure investment firm EIG.

The investment will be made through a jointly owned company with Mitsubishi Corporation, while NYK will also enter into a strategic partnership covering LNG shipping.
