　Senior executives from five international shipowning companies, mainly based in Europe, took part in the 5th Annual Capital Link Japan Maritime Forum, held at the Tokyo American Club on 16 October, discussing their business relationships with Japan, shipbuilding, ship finance and decarbonisation.

　The companies praised the creditworthiness of Japanese businesses and their long-standing partnerships, while expressing concern over the rise of China’s shipbuilding industry. They also exchanged views on financing arrangements, including Japanese Operating Leases with Call Options (JOLCOs), and approaches to next-generation marine fuels.

　欧州を中心とする国際船主5社の経営トップが10月16日、東京アメリカンクラブで開催された「第5回Capital Link Japan Maritime Forum」に登壇し、日本との取引関係や造船、船舶金融、脱炭素を巡り議論した。

　各社は日本企業の信用力と長期的なパートナーシップを高く評価する一方、中国造船業の台頭に対する危機感を表明した。日本型オペレーティングリース（JOLCO）を含む金融手法の活用や、次世代燃料への対応についても意見を交わした。
