The Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) decided on 17 October local time to suspend for one year the discussions on the adoption of the “Net Zero Framework (NZF)” aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from international shipping.
