The Japanese government has asked the U.S. administration to allow the continuation of imports from the Sakhalin-2 oil and gas development project in Russia’s Far East, during policy talks held in Tokyo on October 27 with U.S. President Donald Trump.

　日本政府は10月27日に来日した米トランプ大統領との政策協議の中で、ロシア極東の石油・天然ガス開発事業「サハリン2」の輸入継続を米政府に要請した。
