Takaya Soga, president of NYK, delivered his New Year address on 5 January at the company’s head office in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, at the traditional shoji-hajime ceremony. He stressed that, even as international conditions grow increasingly uncertain, the NYK Group has steadily achieved a measure of transformation and strengthened its business foundations.
