　NYK said on September 29 that it had signed an agreement with Vår Energi CCS AS to acquire a 30% interest in Trudvang CCS ANS, the operator of Norway’s Trudvang CCS project, together with a corresponding 30% interest in the CO2 storage exploration licence “EXL007”. NYK will expand its business scope from the seaborne transport of liquefied CO2 (LCO2) to offshore handling, injection and geological storage.
